This document integrates the previously created policies (Privacy, Service & Delivery, Cancellations & Refunds) to form a cohesive legal framework. Given your location, the governing law and jurisdiction have been set to India.

Welcome to LawCrust Global Outreach Foundation (“LawCrust,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.lawcrust.org and all its associated services, features, content, and applications (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Service & Project Delivery Policy, and Cancellations & Refunds Policy, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Site.

Definitions

“User” refers to any visitor or member of the Site, including Professionals and Organizations.

“Professional” refers to a User offering their skills and services, such as students, researchers, and legal professionals.

“Organization” refers to a User, such as a law firm, company, or research institution, seeking to engage Professionals for projects or opportunities.

“Content” means any text, graphics, images, software, audio, video, works of authorship of any kind, and information or other materials that are posted, generated, provided, or otherwise made available through the Site.

“User Content” means any Content that a User provides to be made available through the Site, including but not limited to blog posts, research, comments, and profile information.

User Accounts

To access certain features of the Site, you must register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
  • Promptly notify us if you discover or otherwise suspect any security breaches related to the Site.
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Acceptable Use and User Conduct

You agree not to use the Site to:

  • Post or transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or harassing.
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • Engage in any activity that is fraudulent, false, or misleading.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Distribute spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or chain letters.
  • Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site or the data contained therein.

User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for your User Content.

  • Ownership and License: You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to the Site, you grant LawCrust a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Content in connection with the Site and our mission. This license is necessary for us to operate the platform (e.g., to display your blog post or research collaboration).
  • Your Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that its use on the Site will not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party.

Terms for Specific Services

A. Research Hub: You agree to engage in all collaborative research with academic integrity and respect for your peers. Any confidential information shared within a private research group must remain confidential.

B. Opportunity Board & Project Engagements:

  • LawCrust acts as a facilitator to connect Professionals and Organizations. We are not an employer, and we do not act as an agent for either party.
  • The relationship between a Professional and an Organization is that of an independent contractor.
  • All project terms, including scope, deliverables, and timelines, must be formally agreed upon in a Statement of Work (SOW) through the platform before work commences.
  • All payments, cancellations, and refunds for projects are governed by our Cancellations & Refunds Policy.

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SITE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE AVAILABLE ON AN UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE BASIS.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire and exclusive understanding and agreement between LawCrust and you regarding the Site.

Modification: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we do, we will post the modified Terms on the Site and update the “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Site after the new date constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
